Corporate and M&A

Work highlights

Advised British International Investment as Malaysian counsel on its strategic investment alongside Idemitsu into Skye Renewables Energy Group, supporting the development of 300MW greenfield solar power capacity across southeast Asia. The complex cross-border transaction involved multiple jurisdictions and regulatory considerations for commercial and industrial customers. The renewable energy platform aims to avoid 270,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually through solar projects. The matter required detailed due diligence of Malaysian entities and creative structuring to meet both regulatory requirements and impact investment mandates.
