Advised a client engaged in the manufacture of kitchen cabinets and storage solutions on filing responses to an office action concerning the transfer of a patent application where the original specification and claims had been inadequately drafted by the client’s previous patent agent. The firm revised the poorly structured original claims, drafting revised claims from the deficient original claim set that enabled the client to obtain the full intended scope of patent protection. The revised patent claims have now been granted.
