A pioneer in China’s capital markets and securities sector, Jingtian & Gongcheng will merge with L&C Legal to form Jingtian & Gongcheng in Hong Kong effective from 30 April 2019. This decision comes as a natural progression after the success of its formal association with L&C Legal, which began in September 2018. With the completion of the merger, Jingtian & Gongcheng becomes one of the elite Chinese law firms with an official presence in Hong Kong.
This marriage will bolster both firms’ cross-border offering in IPOs, debt deals and M&A transactions.
L&C partners Elaine Lo, Nicholas Chan, Li Fai, Stephen Luo, Stella Yeung, and Alfred Li will join the merged entity.
