Pinsent Masons MPillay has strengthened its technology, media and telecommunications practice with the hire of Alexander Shepherd as a partner from Bird & Bird.
Shepherd specialises in commercial, regulatory and technology, media and telecommunications in the Southeast Asia region with a particular focus on cross border data privacy and cybersecurity matters for financial institutions, fintech and insurance companies.
His appointment comes shortly after Pinsent’s loss of infrastructure partners to Clyde & Co.
With the arrival of Shepherd, Pinsent Masons now has 10 partners in Singapore.
