Drew & Napier has strengthened its construction practice with the hire of Christopher Chong as equity director, effective 1 June 2019. Chong was formerly a partner at Pinsent Masons before setting up his own practice. This follows tax expert Ong Sim Ho’s return in April 2019.
Chong has more than two decades of experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction work including being involved in some of the biggest construction projects in Singapore such as Resorts World Sentosa and Changi Airport Terminal 4. Chong is also experienced in banking, construction and natural resources disputes.
Chong will head the firm’s construction and engineering practice alongside Mahesh Rai, the deputy head of practice.
