Guangzhou-headquartered Wang Jing & GH Law Firm has launched a foreign-related legal service team with hires of Jing Wang, Wilson Wang, Franco Fornari and Shuo Zhao along with a team of 20 lawyers, aiming to strengthen its services in the Greater Bay Area.
The new team will be led by Jing Wang, the founding partner of top maritime firm Wang Jing & Co, who will join the firm later this year as senior counsel. Wilson Wang and Franco Fornari, both from the same firm, will also join as partners.
Maritime expert Jing Wang’s practice focuses on maritime and admiralty, international trade, general corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, finance, domestic and foreign investment. He is experienced in handling cross border dispute resolution matters.
Wilson Wang specialises in finance, M&A, international trade, cross-border investment, shipping, insurance, commercial litigation and arbitration, whereas Fornari’s practice covers commercial, dispute resolution, foreign investment strategy, intellectual property and labour and employment.
Zhao joins firm from Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Shenzhen office. She focuses on intellectual property and unfair competition, with inter-disciplinary skills in law and technology. Medicine, chemistry, mechanism, electronics, software, game and entertainment are some of her key industry focus.
According to the firm, Jing Wang’s experience will lead the new team to develop at a fast speed and help it become one of the best foreign-related legal service teams in the Greater Bay Area.
