Senior commercial litigator Suresh Nair and his team have parted ways with Advocatus Law to set up their own law firm, Nair & Co, which opened its doors on October 2 2017.
The team of lawyers at Nair & Co is the same team that has been with Nair for years from his days as head of dispute resolution at Straits Law Practice.
Managing director Suresh Nair’s experience includes international arbitration, complex cross border restructuring and insolvency, commercial and banking litigation, employment, corporate, shareholders’ and employment disputes and claims for fraud and breaches of fiduciary duties.
The team’s experience in banking litigation puts the firm in good stead as an alternative go-to firm for foreign private banks based in Singapore.
The firm kicks off with a loyal following of clients which includes international law firms, banks, insolvency practitioners and major multinational companies.
