Jingtian & Gongcheng has hired Li Li, Aaron Zhu, Jiayue Tan and Stephen Ye as partners in its Guangzhou office, which was launched early this year in February.
Li’s practice covers structured finance, asset-backed security and corporate M&A, with a particular focus in the real estate sector, bonds, and non-performing assets. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner at JunZeJun Law Firm.
Previously the managing partner at Guangdong ETR Law Firm, Zhu mainly focuses on criminal defense and risk prevention. Tan, on the other hand, is a capital markets expert with experience in the fields of bonds, investment and M&A. He was an equity partner at Guangdong Global Kingway Law Firm.
Joining from Hong Kong King Wai Group. Ye specialises on cross-border M&A, real estate, private equity and corporate finance matters, with expertise in automobile, aviation, energy, healthcare and technology and telecommunications.
