Vicente D. Gerochi IV is a member of the SyCipLaw's Banking, Finance & Securities Department. Mr. Gerochi has represented Philippine and international banks and multilateral financial institutions on a range of transactions, including securities offering, project finance and other financing deals.

His projects include Asian Development Bank’s inaugural peso bond issue, ADB’s Asian Currency Note Programme, Ayala Land’s Homestarter Bond offerings, Petron Corporation’s 2013 issuance of US$750 million undated subordinated capital securities, and Bank of the Philippine Islands’ PhP25 billion inaugural peso bond offering.

He advised one of the shareholders of National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, the company that won the concession to operate and rehabilitate the Philippine government’s transmission grid and sub-transmission assets, in connection with the financing of its equity contribution to that company.

He continues to advise NGCP on its fundraising activities, including its PhP31 billion corporate notes issuance in 2014.
He represented Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility, a trust fund of the Asian Development Bank, and First Metro Investment Corp. in the corporate notes issuance of Aeon Credit Service (Philippines) Inc., which was the first transaction under the ASEAN+3 Multi-Currency Bond Issuance Framework in the Philippines and only the second AMBIF issuance in the ASEAN region.

Mr. Gerochi has worked on the financing of a number of transport and power infrastructure projects, including MRT-7, the acquisition and rehabilitation of the Angat Hydroelectric Power Plant, and a 50mW solar power project in Mindanao.
