Overview

Yuen Law is a boutique legal practice offering services ranging from dispute resolution to corporate and commercial, real estate, family law and private wealth. The firm is especially active in fundraising and venture capital investment for SMEs and startups. Last year, the firm advised on over 60 corporate and M&A-related transactions, and more than 120 contentious matters, mostly civil and commercial in nature. Its corporate department is led by the managing partner Samuel Yuen and is supported by senior director Kevin Chua, while its disputes group is helmed by Amos Cai. Senior corporate specialist Angeline Wong joined from Eng and Co at the beginning of 2023.

Acted for a broadcast media production and distribution company in a deal involving the acquisition of shares and making additional investments into a leading videography services provider. 

Advised in a fundraising for Skyhook Capital, a company that offers a cloud-based platform for wealth and asset management. 

Represented Real Tech Fund on its participation as lead investor in the $10 million Series A funding into VflowTech, a Singapore-based renewable energy startup.

Advised a group of financial advisers on a multi-million-dollar option to purchase one of the largest independent wealth management firms.
