Seum Law is a boutique law firm that is focused on the technology and telecommunications sphere, and is recognised for advising startups and venture capitalists. It climbs up to the ‘Highly recommended’ tier in the technology and telecommunications table, an acknowledgement of its commitment to this area, particularly for early-stage players. Last year the firm assisted a number of start-ups in their exits, including toothpaste maker Rupicello Korea. The firm does not profess to compete with its larger counterparts for big-ticket mandates, but rather has steadily increased its profile among mid-market clients. This is exemplified by a double-digit increase in its aggregate deal volume in relation to the previous year.
