Work highlights 

Advised Domino’s Pizza Enterprises on its acquisition of 240 stores in Malaysia, 38 stores in Singapore and nine stores in Cambodia via its acquisition of Dommal’s Food Services. This acquisition is significant, given the buyer is the world’s largest franchisee of Domino’s Pizza and the target company is the largest Domino’s franchise in south-east Asia. The deal also represents the biggest store expansion and single largest acquisition in the history of Domino’s Pizza Enterprises. 

Advised Gamuda on its acquisition of a 30% equity stake in ERS Energy. ERS Energy is a Malaysian solar engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) company – one of the largest in the Asean region. This is a substantial transaction in the renewable energy sector in Malaysia and the investment is expected to grow Gamuda’s renewable energy asset portfolio to more than 800MW in the next few years, making it one of the largest players in the renewable energy sector in Malaysia.

Work highlights 

Acted for Senheng New Retail on its IPO on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, making it the second-largest IPO in 2022 by market capitalisation on listing. Senheng New Retail is the largest consumer electrical and electronics retailer in Malaysia, with more than 100 stores. 

Acted for ITMAX Systems on its IPO on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. This is the second-largest IPO in the technology sector of Bursa Malaysia and the third-largest IPO of 2022 by market capitalisation on listing.
