Acted for all major cement companies, including Ultra Tech, Nuveco Cement, JP Cement and Heidelberg Cement, before the Supreme Court challenging to the consolidated duty demand raised by the Central Excise Department (CED). The final bench ruled that the clients would not pay higher excise duty and the CED dropped its demands.

Representing Sony, Nikon and Canon in a Supreme Court case that relates to the international commercial laws of the WTO that India must keep while abiding with local import tax laws.
