Founding partner Hsian Siong Yong routinely advises on the sale and purchase of property, leases and build-to-suit agreements, and has expertise advising on hospitality documentation. In addition, Yong assists developers, asset owners and operators with advice on law relating to property development, stratification and strata management matters. The firm expanded its corporate practice with the addition of Kah Yuen Cho, who joined as an associate from Ant Group in August 2024, focusing on M&A and corporate real-estate matters.

Advised a global pension fund on the restructuring of equity holdings by its Malaysian joint venture partner in a RM9 billion ($2.1 billion) property development project. The RM200 million transaction, completed in September 2024, involved advising on preference share issuance to meet funding requirements, implications on existing financing structures and new agreements for specialist operators. The restructuring was crucial for maintaining continuous funding from the Malaysian joint venture partner to ensure operational stability of the development.
