Work highlights

Advised Zhuhai Huafa Group on successfully arranging a syndicated loan of HK$4 billion ($510 million), marking the largest overseas syndication by a local state-owned enterprise of the year.

Acted as a PRC legal counsel for Bank of Communications to facilitate a three-year cross-border Rmb1.5 billion ($209 million) unsecured sustainability-linked loan provided to Jiangsu Financial Leasing Company.

Advised Beijing Infrastructure Investment on the establishment of the Beijing Suburban Railway Joint Development Group. This is an important milestone for the cooperation between the railway company and the Beijing Municipal Government.

Advised Beijing Jingtou Xingchao Real Estate on the issuance of Beijing Municipality Special Bonds for the renovation of shanty areas in the northwest of Dongba region, with Rmb7 billion ($978 million) in the last 12 months.

Work highlights

Represented numerous pharmaceutical companies in responding to a large-scale criminal investigation jointly initiated by multiple authorities, including the Public Security Bureau, the Healthcare Security Administration and the Customs Anti-Smuggling Bureau. This case marked the largest criminal investigation involving pharmaceutical company employees in recent years and one of the most impactful government compliance investigations in the pharmaceutical industry.
