  • Acting on the buy-side in a 100% share acquisition of two leading companies in the non-ferrous metal, electric wire and cable business in Vietnam by one of the biggest Thai investors in one of the largest Investment and M&A Deals of the Year.
  • Acting for a leading Australian travel company in relation to the acquisition and restructuring of 11 major travel and tourism companies in Vietnam and 6 other offshore travel companies.
  • Acting as lead and Vietnam counsel in relation to the proposed joint venture investment by investment fund in a USD3 billion LNG-fired power generation facility to be located in the south of Vietnam.
  • Acting as lead local counsel for a major regional development credit institution in relation to the financing of a 350MWp capacity utility-scale solar power project in Tay Ninh Province and a 257MWp utility-scale solar power project in Phu Yen Province;
  • Acting as key Vietnam counsel for the developer of Vietnam’s largest and most high-profile casino, hotel, leisure, golf, retail, and residential development (total investment project value US$4 billion), located in Quang Nam province.
  • Acting for Japanese and Korean public financial institutions in respect of their roles as cornerstone foreign lenders for the Nghi Son2 1200MW coal fired power generation project being undertaken on a BOT basis in Vietnam.
