Overview

Aquinas Law Alliance’s corporate finance practice covers a wide range of capital markets work. It is active in primary listings, de-listings, privatisations and secondary offerings. The firm also regularly advises on ongoing listing compliance and transfer listings. This year, it moves up in the technology and telecommunications table.  

Joint managing partners Kok Meng Lim and Aloysius Wee are key contacts at the firm for transactional work. The disputes quarter is headed by Cephas Yee and Mark Cham Shan Jie, bolstered by the expertise of arbitration specialist Steve Ngo. Acted for a Chinese national against a Singapore company for claims of negligent and fraudulent misrepresentation and for damages arising from the acquisition of an Australian company.  

Representing JE Synergy Engineering against two of its former employees in relation to bribes taken in relation to a construction contract 

Advised a local businessman in relation to alleged fraud committed by his ex-wife involving an entity which they had jointly owned during their marriage.

Acted for THC Venture on structuring options for the purpose of privatisation 

Represented Camsing Healthcare on the structuring of its proposed investment by Qiren Holdings. 

Advised Green Build Technology on its private placement exercise.

Represented Trirec as the lead investor in the series pre-B fundraising of Green Li-ion, a lithium-ion battery recycling technology company based in the US, Europe, Australia and Singapore.

Acted for Mighty Jaxx International on its acquisition of various businesses in Singapore. 

Advised Finku Technologies on its Series seed fundraising.
