Overview

Established in late 2019 by a founding partner of Trilegal, Anand Prasad, AP & Partners aims to service clients in sophisticated, high stakes and high value matters. Its corporate expertise rests in M&A, particularly those that are complex, distressed or contentious, and it has a growing expertise in technology matters. The New Delhi-based firm currently has seven partners and 35 fee earners. Apart from Prasad, the key contacts at the firm are corporate, private equity and dispute partners Arjun Sinha, Harshit Anand, Sandeep Das, Kamaljeet Singh, Dushyant Kumar and Moksha Bhat. Singh joined in April from JSA and Kumar arrived in August from IFC.

Represented IPL Tech Electric on its acquisition by T1 Clean Mobility Private. 

Assisted Narang Eye Institute on its 100% sale to ASG Eye Hospitals for nearly $3 million 

Advised Honda Power Pack Energy India on setting up a battery-swapping business in India. 

Acted for Etsy on multiple matters including the impact of consumer protection e-commerce regulations on the India buyer launch, impact of its proposed India business arising from RBI regulations mandating localisation of financial data and card data storage rules, and the company’s insurance obligations.  

Assisted Coding Ninjas on the sale of 100% share capital to Info Edge. 

Advised ColdBrewTech Private on its $6.5 million investment from Krafton.
