Career highlights: Being the founding partner of Vivien Chan & Co, Vivien brings to bear over 30 years' experience in M&A, China direct investment, corporate services, employment, technology transfers and information technology, intellectual property and related tax issues. She was named one of the China's 100 'outstanding women entrepreneurs' in 2010 and was recently recognised in the WIPR Leaders 2017 guide for trademarks and patents. Vivien was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2008 and Silver Bauhinia Star in 2014 by the HKSAR government for her outstanding contributions to Hong Kong. Vivien is a justice of the peace and a past president of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. She is a notary public, a notarial attesting officer in PRC, and an arbitrator at CIETAC, the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre and the Shenzhen Arbitration Commission.
Vivien received her law degree from King's College, University of London, and is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, Hong Kong, NSW Australia, and Singapore. Vivien is fluent in English, Mandarin, French and Cantonese. Key clients include Amway, James Bond, and Ford.
