Career highlights: Pedro José F. Bernardo is a partner at Kelvin Chia Partnership and a Principal Consulting Attorney at Kelvin Chia Yangon Ltd. and KCP (Cambodia) Ltd. His practice includes assisting local and off-shore clients in investment projects across various sectors in Myanmar and Cambodia, including real estate, manufacturing, telecommunications, and energy. He has advised clients on the structuring and implementation of such investments that have involved the drafting, review and negotiation of complex transaction documents and the application for approvals from relevant regulatory authorities. He has also advised on commercial and financing structures, including structures involving private equity, public-private partnerships and limited recourse financing. PJ obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy, magna cum laude) from the Ateneo de Manila University, and his Juris Doctor (Valedictorian and Gold Medal for Academic Excellence) from the Ateneo de Manila Law School. He also holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School (concentration in International Financial Systems).
