As the chief partner of Grandway Law Office, Mr. Zhang Liguo is a well-known legal expert in China's securities and capital market. He was a member of the 7th Listing Committee of Shenzhen Stock Exchange, a member of the 1st Listing Advisory Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange, a member of the Review Committee of the 4th SSE Board of Directors, and a member of the 1st Listing Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange START Market. He is now a member of the expert consultant of Asset Securitization Committee of Asset Management Association of China, member of the Council of the National Fund for Technology Transfer and Commercialization, supervisor of the 11th Beijing Lawyers Association Board of Supervisors, director of the Board of Supervisors of the Beijing Dongcheng District Lawyers Association, CPC deputy secretary of the Beijing Dongcheng District Lawyers Association, and director of the Beijing Legal Aid Foundation.
As one of the first lawyers establishing law firms and obtaining the professional qualification of securities legal business granted by the Ministry of Justice and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Mr. Zhang Liguo has helped hundreds of enterprises complete various projects such as stock issuance, mergers and restructuring, additional issuance, rights issue, the establishment of securities investment funds and equity incentive in more than 20 years. He has been providing all-round legal services for enterprises. The types of securities involved include H shares, A shares, B shares, red chips, enterprise bonds, corporate bonds, etc. And his clients include enterprises in information technology, resources, energy, chemical industry, medicine, commerce, agriculture, real estate, infrastructure, petroleum, paper making, etc. Besides, Mr. Zhang Liguo is an internal audit member of several securities companies and an independent director in many companies. He has participated in the drafting and revising several laws, regulations and normative documents in securities and is recognized in the industry.
His profound theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience allow him to effectively help clients deal with and solve various difficult and complicated legal problems. Mr. Zhang Liguo regularly holds lectures at Peking University Law School to teach graduate students about capital markets and securities legal practice.
