Career highlights: Bagus is a founding partner and managing partner of Bagus Enrico & Partners (BE Partners). Bagus is recognised as a commercially minded lawyer. He has acted as counsel for numerous clients, such as Barclays, Mizuho, Etiqa, Maybank, Proton, Sorgent E, JD ID, China Road & Bridge Corporation, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad, and so on, in respect of various matters.
Bagus has extensively worked on a broad range of cross border transactional, advisory and contentious matters, and regularly advises on regulatory issues in the financial industry, and in the energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors. His considerable experience in relation to these business sectors has enabled him to steer investors across the inherent practical and regulatory hurdles.
He received his first law degree from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia (1996) and his LLM from the University of Manchester, UK (a Chevening Scholar) (2005).
