Career highlights: Emir Nurmansyah joined ABNR in 1989 and has been a partner since 1997. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 1989 and earned an LLM from the Faculty of Law at Bond University in Australia in 1993.
Emir has been involved in the acquisition of plantations, and with M&A-related finance and industry and capital market transactions. He was intensively involved in numerous projects, including: Central Java IPP, Muara Laboh geothermal, Kalsel power plant, Semangka hydro power plant, Rantau Dedap geothermal power plant, Sarulla geothermal, Paiton I and Paiton II, Tanjung Jati B, Paiton 3 expansions, the Cirebon power project financing, Newmont Batu Hijau, and the Sengkang gas field and power project. He has also been involved in various notes issuances, including the Bumi Resources notes, the Charoen Pokphand Group, and a number of aircraft financings. He has been involved, either as a team member or as team leader, in the development and financing of all the power projects handled by ABNR, and in most of the firm's financing and restructuring projects.
Emir has been recommended as a leading figure in corporate/M&A, and financing and debt restructuring projects in several regional and international publications.
