IndusLaw adds two partners

IndusLaw has hired Karthik BM as a partner in Bangalore and Deepak Chowdhury as a partner in Hyderabad. BM was an in-house counsel at real estate investment firm Inno Group in Chennai and Chowdhury was an associate partner at K Law where he specialised in infrastructure, energy and real estate.

Luthra & Luthra Law Office hires Akhil Anand

Luthra & Luthra Law Offices has promoted Akhil Anand to partner. Before the move, Anand was a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas where he focused on litigation.

King & Wood Mallesons appoints Sue Kench as global managing partner

King & Wood Mallesons has appointed Australia chief executive partner Sue Kench as the firm’s global managing partner. She has a background in real estate and development, acting for developers, investors and banks for more than 20 years. She will start the role on June 1.

IP firm Spruson & Ferguson has appointed three new principals in its Beijing office: Jennifer Kang, Lin Zhuo and Jeff Chen. Kang and Chen both focus on the chemical and life sciences sector while Zhuo specialises in the engineering and information/communication technology sector.
