Argus Partners has hired Pramod Panda as a partner in its Mumbai office to set up a new financial regulatory practice. He was previously the principal chief general manager of the Reserve Bank of India.

Hammurabi & Solomon merges with Brahmand Lexis

Hammurabi & Solomon has absorbed Brahmand Lexis in Mumbai. Digajmaan Mishra, Brahmand Lexis’ managing partner, has joined Hammurabi & Solomon as an equity partner while Yashmaan Mishra will be a partner. Fourteen other lawyers will be joining the firm as part of the merger to strengthen the firm’s dispute resolution, IP and capital markets practices.
