Argus Partners launches fintech practice

Argus Partners has hired Pramod Panda as a partner in its Mumbai office to set up a new financial regulatory practice. He was previously the principal chief general manager of the Reserve Bank of India.

Hammurabi & Solomon merges with Brahmand Lexis

Hammurabi & Solomon has absorbed Brahmand Lexis in Mumbai. Digajmaan Mishra, Brahmand Lexis’ managing partner, has joined Hammurabi & Solomon as an equity partner while Yashmaan Mishra will be a partner. Fourteen other lawyers will be joining the firm as part of the merger to strengthen the firm’s dispute resolution, IP and capital markets practices.

Economic Laws Practice adds two partners

Economic Laws Practice has hired MP Devnath as an equity partner and Vivek Sharma as a partner in its tax practice in New Delhi. Both were at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan before the move.
