Corrs grabs new restructuring partner

Jade Rowarth has joined Corrs Chambers Westgarth as a partner in its restructuring practice in Melbourne.

Rowarth has extensive experience in Australia and the UK advising on restructuring and insolvency matters, particularly transactional, litigious and advisory work, including security enforcement and debt and asset restructuring across the corporate and capital structure.

Her clients include domestic bank lenders, insolvency practitioners, corporates, private equity, special situation credit funds and suppliers. Her industry experience covers sectors, such as retail, agribusiness, hospitality/gaming, manufacturing and resources.

Gary Rumble joins Keypoint Law

Gary Rumble, described as one of Australia's leading government and constitutional lawyers, has joined Keypoint Law as a consulting principal. 

Rumble advises Government on complex policy implementation, what Keypoint Law referred to as ‘litigation-proof’ decision-making, and on defending decisions being challenged. He also acts for the private sector on dealings with Government. He has held senior positions in Government including as chief counsel with the Commonwealth Department of Human Services, and has been a partner with Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) and DLA Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper).

Vaish adds more strength to partnership

Vaish Associates in India has two new partners and six new associate partners. 

Kavita Jha and Gaurav Jain, who are both tax litigators, become the new partners. They work in the Delhi office. The new associate partners are split equally between Mumbai -  Amit Bhandari, Krishna Kishore and Amitjivan Joshi - and Delhi - Manish Tully, NPS Chawla and Puneeta Kundra.
