Mayer Brown has announced that partner Gary Hnath, a leading authority in Section 337 litigation, is now resident in Beijing as well as Washington DC. Hnath specialises in IP litigation involving patent, trademark, copyright infringement and trade secrets.

The firm has also appointed Chunchun Zhao as head of the firm’s IP agency in Beijing, who will be focusing on trademark registration and dispute resolution in China. Experienced in trademark and copyright matters, Zhao was previously a senior lawyer at Spruson & Ferguson Intellectual Property Agency (Beijing) and had worked at the China Trade Mark Office.
