Llinks Law Offices has announced its new office opening in Shenzhen on 25 May 2020.

The Shenzhen office will be led by four new partners: Alex Huang, Candice Du, Alan Chen and Sheldon Chen, aiming to build the firm’s position in the South China legal market.

Huang specialises in finance and corporate and M&A, with a track record of acting as legal advisor for onshore and offshore financing, M&A and real estate projects.

Du and Chen’s practices cover cross-border investment and banking and finance. Du is experienced in providing legal services for listed companies, large group enterprises and financial institutions, while Chen acts for investment institutions and private equity fund managers in fundraising and establishment, subsequent investment operations, exit and liquidation.

With extensive knowledge in the areas of private equity, M&A, corporate and commercial work, Sheldon Chen has involved in a significant number of investments, restructuring and M&A projects in a variety of industries, including TMT, big data, artificial intelligence, retail and consumer industry, healthcare, alternative energy, and the logistics fields.

According to the firm, its Shenzhen office will work closely with Llinks’ Hong Kong office and create a synergy between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The new office will facilitate diversified development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) by providing more convenient and efficient legal services to clients in South China.
