Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas welcomed partner Arjun Perikal from J Sagar Associates to its Bangalore team. Perikal’s practice focuses mainly on corporate and civil disputes and restructuring. Prior to J Sagar, he had stints at M&C Partners and AZB & Partners.
JSA joint managing partners Amit Kapur and Vivek Chandy said of Perika’s departure: “Arjun was with JSA for many years which included a long stint as a retained partner and choose to move on in search of new opportunities. We wish him all success.”

In Delhi, Chandhiok & Mahajan named Sujoy Bhatia as partner and head of its corporate practice after he joined from J Sagar Associates. Chadhiok now has three partners in its corporate team. Bhatia is an M&A and corporate advisory specialist, with over 15 years of experience.
