Yoon & Yang opens second international office in Ho Chi Minh City

Korean firm Yoon & Yang is opening its second overseas office in Ho Chi Minh City on November 29. Its first was in in Tashkent in 2008. Headed by partner Zunu (Joon-Woo) Lee, who leads the firm’s southeast Asia practice, the new office will provide on-the-ground service in the southeast Asia region and focus on cross-border regional needs. M&A, construction/real estate, banking & finance, natural resources and litigation/arbitration will be target practice areas.

Heidi Lee joins Howse Williams Bowers as corporate partner

Heidi Lee has joined Howse Williams Bowers as corporate partner. Lee joins the firm from Ashurst Hong Kong and is experienced in M&A, public takeovers, regulatory and compliance work for Hong Kong listed companies. Her track record includes advising on IPOs and secondary offerings in Hong Kong for companies in China and overseas.

Kochhar & Co hires Sarika Raichur as partner

Sarika Raichur has joined Kochhar & Co as a partner in its corporate practice. Before the move, Raichur was the co-founding partner of Yuti Law Partners. Before that, she worked with Khaitan & Co and Noerr in London. She has extensive experience in M&A, private equity and fund formation.

Ben Fuller moves to Henry Davis York

Property and construction specialist Ben Fuller has joined Henry Davis York. Fuller joins the firm from Meyer Vandenberg, bringing with him more than 10 years of experience of working with property developers, construction companies and Commonwealth agencies.

Hall & Wilcox in Australia has bulked up its projects team with the hiring of Paul O’Donnell, an experienced lawyer in the development of energy projects acquisitions, energy trading and regulation, with a strong focus on renewable energy. Before the move, he was a partner at HWL Ebsworth, general counsel for Novatec Solar and a partner in Clayton Utz’s energy & resources team.
