Managing partner of Global Law Office Jinrong Liu wins our January lawyer of the month award for his work on the Turkey infrastructure project.
Liu advised a Chinese consortium led by China Merchants Expressway on its $688 million purchase of 51 percent stake in Turkish infrastructure company ICA, aiming at the third Bosphorus bridge and North Marmara Motorway project. The transaction represents the largest infrastructure M&A transaction in Turkey and the largest cross-border investment by China-based investors in Turkey to date.
Liu actively advises both Chinese and international companies on M&A, investment transactions and equity and debt offerings across various sectors including banking and financial services, e-commerce, new energy, logistics, real estate, infrastructure and utilities.
