Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), one of the largest law firms in India, has hired corporate lawyer Varun Sehgal as a partner in Delhi from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM). He will be a member of CAM’s Japan desk.
Sehgal started his career with Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co in the year 2007 and worked at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune before joining SAM in the year 2013. He has extensive experience in M&A and joint ventures and frequently advises Japanese companies on their investment in India.
Cyril Shroff, the managing partner of CAM, mentioned in the press release: “We are pleased to have Varun join our firm. He will be a great addition to our general corporate practice.”
