CMS Holborn Asia, the Singapore foreign law alliance of CMS, has hired Daniel Tan as the head of banking and finance practice. Tan joins the firm from Clifford Chance where he was a counsel.
Tan regularly advises on transactional and regulatory matters across a range of areas including leveraged and general syndicated finance, asset finance, trade finance and project finance.
Tan joins the firm a few weeks after Babita Ambekar’s arrival as partner. Ambekar was previously a partner and head of India practice at DWF.
Following the hire of Tan, CMS now has 11 partners in Singapore.
