Christopher & Lee Ong, a member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, reinforces its restructuring and insolvency practice with the arrival of new partner, See Hua Chua. She joins from her boutique firm Chua Associates which she founded in 2010.
Chua joins the firm at a time when Southeast Asia sees an increase in debt restructuring and insolvency due to the impact of the COVID-19. She brings with her extensive experience dealing with a wide-ranging roster of local and international clients and legal expertise in restructuring and insolvency. Her experience includes acting for borrowers, lenders and administrators on corporate debt restructurings, divestments and acquisitions.
Chua will co-lead its R&I practice alongside John Mathew, head of dispute resolution practice.
