asialaw is proud to announce the winners of the third annual awards for the best firms, teams, lawyers as well as deals and cases throughout Asia-Pacific over the past 12-18 months.
In light of the ongoing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), it was with much regret that we had to cancel the physical awards. However, we are pleased to present our first-ever virtual awards ceremony. In the presentation, you will be able to find all the details and reasons for the winners.

Rajah & Tann received the biggest prize of the awards with Asia-Pacific Firm of the Year. It also took home trophies for Banking and Finance Firm of the Year, Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year, Insurance Firm of the Year on top of Singapore Firm of the Year.
Elsewhere, Kim & Chang had a successful run, winning for Regulatory Firm of the Year, Technology and Telecommunications Firm of the Year and taking home three Impact Deals and Cases trophies (including for its role on the SoftBank Vision Fund $2 billion investment in Coupang).
In total, the awards recognised leading law firms across 10 practice areas, seven industries and 25 jurisdictions across the region. This year, Asialaw added client service excellence awards that were decided using objective data captured from client feedback during the 2019 research process. In deciding the winners, each firm or practitioner was given an average score using the client surveys. The award went to the firm and lawyer with the highest average score.
