Trilegal has appointed Harsh Maggon from AZB & Partners as a partner in the corporate practice group.
Maggon specialises in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He advises on various takeovers involving open offers and schemes of arrangements. He also advises on corporate governance issues in listed entities, control deals, secondary exits and minority stake acquisitions.
Maggon joined AZB as a counsel from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in 2016, where he was a principal associate in the public mergers and acquisitions team.
Maggon is Trilegal’s second corporate partner hire this year. In January, the firm hired Arjun Ghose as a partner in Bengaluru from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
