He has advised multinational and Indonesian clients, including representing them in court, on a variety of patent, trade mark and industrial design disputes in a career of more than 16 years. His landmark dispute cases are Versace vs Danatella Versace, Medusa logo vs Medusa, Fox vs Fox Ladies, SKF vs SKFSKC, COBB vs Golden Cob, Jasper Conran vs Conran and Olympic vs Olympic.
Prabawan was formerly managing partner of Citius Intellectual Property and Eclipse Intellectual Property, head of trademarks and litigation at Biro Oktroi Rooseno for seven years and head of litigation at Amroos & Partners for five years.
