Parthasarathi, partner and regional co-head of market practice (south region) at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, successfully led a team in providing advisory services to Cholamandalam Investment and Finance. Cholamandalam Investment and Finance, the financial services arm of the Murugappa Group, recently completed a significant transaction involving the issuance of $240 million in equity and $240 million in compulsory convertible debentures (CCDs) through a single QIP offering.

The transaction is the largest private sector QIP in India in 2023. The company aims to utilise the proceeds from the offering to expand its business operations and strengthen its capital adequacy requirements.

Parthasarathi possesses extensive expertise in a wide range of public offerings of securities. His proficiency encompasses diverse sectors and includes handling transactions such as initial public offerings, qualified institutional placements, real estate investment trusts (REITs), institutional placement programs, and foreign currency convertible bonds. He has advised clients including Computer Age Management Services, Coffee Day Enterprise and Canara Bank on security transactions matters.

Before joining Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Parthasarathis worked at law firm Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co (AMSS).
