Thammavaranucupt is a veteran corporate specialist, with a strong track record working on high-end capital markets, M&A and corporate governance matters. She led Weerawong C&P’s capital markets and corporate governance departments for the past seven years, after joining it in 2015 from Thai telecoms company, DTAC.
Throughout her tenure at Weerawong C&P, Thammavaranucupt steadied her practice groups as market leaders. In asialaw’s rankings, Weerawong C&P remains the sole firm in the Outstanding tier for capital markets in Thailand. Thammavaranucupt is acknowledged as an Elite Practitioner in our guide.
Prior to serving as general counsel for DTAC, Thammavaranucupt practised at Linklaters and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and she was a member of the Takeover Panel of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.
Thammavaranucupt launched the new firm with former Weerawong colleagues, including ex-dispute resolution head Pathorn Towongchuen, corprorate partner Chanvit Prachayapipat, senior counsel James Lawden, counsel Sappawit Jansuparerg and Parithat Chamnonsilp.
The launch of TTT & Partners is the latest splintering of leading practitioners from Weerawong C&P. The Capital Law Office and Kudun & Partners were established by former Weerawong partners in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
