HWL Ebsworth acted for Tony White Group (TWG) in its acquisition of Kloster Motor Group (KMG) from AP Eagers.
Founded in 1934, Kloster Motor Group is a car dealership company based in New Castle, NSW. It is estimated that KMG generates A$420 million annually from car dealerships in Newcastle, Cardiff, and Maitland.
That deal was approved in July, with Allens advising AP Eagers on its application to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for approval.
