Total's $865 million acquisition of 37.4% stake in Adani Gas is our deal of the month for October.
Total were advised by Latham and AZB with Clifford Chance and Cyril Amarchand acting for Adani Gas.
The deal is the latest move by a multinational into the India market following similar moves by BP and Shell.
Following the deal Adani and Total will both hold 37.4% stakes in the business.
Adani owns gas networks in various areas including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Faridabad, Palwal and Khurja.
