AvePoint's S$260 million ($202 million) listing on the Singapore Exchange is our Deal of the Month for October.
Data management solutions provider AvePoint completed a groundbreaking S$260 million listing on the Singapore Exchange, becoming the first company to achieve a dual listing on Nasdaq and SGX. The transaction marks several milestones: the first B2B SaaS stock on SGX and the first SEC-registered offering pricing in Singapore dollars with exclusive listing and settlement on SGX-ST.
This landmark transaction establishes a new framework for US-listed technology companies seeking secondary listings in Singapore, potentially opening doors for more dual listings between the two markets.
WongPartnership and Cooley advised AvePoint on the offering, with equity capital markets partners Gail Ong, Loh Jen Vern and Shawn Ang leading the Singapore counsel team. The Cooley team was led by Tim Pitrelli and John McKenna. Latham & Watkins and Venture Law represented the joint global coordinators and bookrunners Jefferies, Morgan Stanley, OCBC and UBS Securities.
