JD.com’s secondary listing in Hong Kong is our deal of the month for June.
Skadden, Shihui Partners, Maples and Calder have advised Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com on its secondary listing on the HKEX, with Clifford Chance and Han Kun Law Offices advising the underwriters. This is the company’s second listing after it went public on Nasdaq in 2014.
The listing, likely the biggest in the city this year, marks another Chinese firm which is already listed in the US, carrying out fundraising closer to home amid the US/China trade tension.
