Ashok has acted for parties in many high-profile deals across jurisdictions, including Lehman, China Fishery, Bakrieland, Blue Ocean, and more recently Duniatex, Hyflux, Agritrade, Hin Leong Group, Noble and Berau Coal. Ashok has been noted as a leading lawyer in many publications including Chambers Asia, IFLR1000, and Best Lawyers International. He sits as a member or director on several thought-leadership committees and associations such as the Law Reform Committee of the Singapore Academy of Law, the Advisory Board of the Singapore Global Restructuring Initiative, board director of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore and the International Insolvency Institute. Ashok is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Singapore Management University. He also chairs the Law Reform Sub-Committee on Bond Restructuring.
