Samuel Yuen

Samuel Yuen is the Managing Director of Yuen Law and Head of its Corporate and Business Practice Team.

Samuel is a leading lawyer recognised by the prestigious Chambers and Partners for his corporate and commercial work. He is a renowned corporate M&A expert with a “multi-threat” background in securities, intellectual property and commercial transactional work.

An old hand at business development owing to a long family line of entrepreneurs, Samuel understands the challenges and gratification of running businesses. That empathy, combined with business acumen, is what builds greater affinity between him and his clients.

Samuel is a published author, with “Funding for Start-ups — A Guide to Fundraising”.

• Represented a sanitation group, in the S$73 million sale of its stake to a subsidiary of a leading real estate services company.
• Represented a group of financial advisers in the US$ 25 million option to purchase by a wealth management firm.
• Represented one of the buyers in the S$9.6 million management buyout of a Group of Relocation companies.
• Represented Real Tech Fund Investment Partnership Global I, as a lead investor, in a US$10 million Series A funding into a Singapore-based renewable energy startup, VflowTech.
• Represented Pine Growth Fund 1 VCC, as a co-lead investor, in the US$3.7 million Series A fundraising round of ZumVet, a telemedicine veterinary startup.
