Hung’s highlighted deals include the financing of $800M by a group of Korean financial institutions for the Keangnam Landmark Tower; the first domestic syndication of $225M by Vietnamese banks, led by PVFC, for an energy offshore investment project; the $180M refinancing of the Bitexco Financial Tower and the acquisition of Prudential Vietnam Finance by Shinhan Card. Hung has been working in the majority of corporate bond issues guaranteed by the ADB’s Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility including the first project bond for a renewable energy project, the Hong Phong 1 Power Plant as well as recent domestic bond issues with a total value of over $2B by Vingroup and its subsidiaries. Hung’s practice also covers advising clients on the day-to-day operational issues (including developing the blueprint for transaction contracts and security documents) and syndicated and bilateral financings. His clients include Citibank, Mizuho Bank, Bank of Tokyo and Mitsubishi UFJ, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, CIMB Vietnam, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Standard Chartered Bank as well as major domestic banks.
