Zhenghe Liu

Mr. Liu has been making theoretical researches and practicing in the area of employment, social security and labor union laws since 2000. He now provides general labor law service for more than 30 renowned multinational corporations, internet technology companies, state-owned enterprises and joint-stock companies. He has advised quite a number of large-scale enterprises and conglomerates in the design and revision of internal rules and regulations, the draft of HR compliance guidance, and the employee settlement for layoff in M&A and reorganization deals. He has served the clients from wide spectrum of industries, including energy, aviation and space, automobile, finance, telecommunications, internet technology, movie and TV media, biological, medical and life sciences, chemistry, machine manufacturing, and education, etc.

Mr. Liu has extensive experience in labor disputes resolution. He has represented clients in hundreds of arbitrations and litigations for labor disputes, among which he is especially an expert in dealing with complicated cases, such as non-competition disputes, corporate compliance management, and group disputes, etc.

In the past, Mr. Liu has acted as Director of Legal Department in Legal Service Centre of Beijing Federation of Trade Unions and a public lawyer of Beijing Federation of Trade Unions for several years, in charge of guiding the labor disputes mediation of Beijing, dealing with serious group disputes, and participating in the formulation of labor legislation. He has also worked as Head of Employee Relations of Human Resources Department in the headquarters of a well-known life insurance company, being responsible for drafting employment management documents, rules and regulations, and guiding and instructing all the branches of the company to resolve labor disputes. His experience in the life insurance company has given him considerable knowledge of and rich experience in human resources management in large-scale enterprises.

Before practicing as a lawyer, Mr. Liu acted as a public lawyer of Beijing Federation of Trade Unions for years and also worked as Head of Employee Relations for a well-known life insurance company.

Education: Liu received his LL.B. degree from Dalian Maritime University Law School and LL.M. degree from Renmin University Law School.
