Career highlights: Mr. Liu started his career in employment law since 2000. He has represented clients in hundreds of labour arbitrations and litigations and advised clients in employment-related matters in all aspects, among which he is especially an expert in dealing with puzzling non-competition disputes, corporate compliance management, group disputes, etc.

He has served the clients from wide spectrum of industries, including energy, aviation and space, automobile, finance, telecommunications, internet technology, movie and TV media, biological, medical and life sciences, chemistry, manufacturing, education, etc. He has been serving as the sole employment counsel for more than 30 Fortune 500 MNCs and labour unions.

Before practicing as a lawyer, Mr. Liu acted as a public lawyer of Beijing Federation of Trade Unions for years and also worked as Head of Employee Relations for a well-known life insurance company.

Education: Liu received his LL.B. degree from Dalian Maritime University Law School and LL.M. degree from Renmin University Law School.
