Janice Lin is a partner with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm with the expertise in the project financing, M&A, and capital market.

Janice is an expert in the renewable energy project development, foreign investment, divestment, and energy project financing. She leads Tsar and Tsai energy practice. She is the leading partner in assisting the global offshore wind developer to invest in Formosa I offshore wind project, which is the ground breaking, first-of-its-kind renewable energy project in Taiwan.

Given the relatively new and ever-evolving regulatory regimes and licensing processes, and the complex landscape of various industry suppliers, players, and other interest groups (such as fishermen, local resident groups, and environmental groups), T&T is one of the very few law firms in Taiwan with the necessary expertise and experience to provide comprehensive and strategic advice with respect to all aspects of renewable energy, including offshore wind farm projects in Taiwan.

On Capital Market practice, Janice has extensive experiences in representing Taiwan listed company with their foreign securities offering (e.g. ECB, GDR or ADR). Janice also represents various foreign issuers for their IPO and listing over Taiwan securities exchanges.

Janice frequently advises and represents international and domestic financial/securities institutions, including private equity funds, on their new products, investments, offering and placement related activities. She also works with Taiwan financial and securities related agencies or associations on new legislation and rule making.
