Linyong (Leon) Fu

Leon is a managing partner of the firm. Before joining the firm in 2008, Leon has worked at South China sub-commission of CIETAC (now known as the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration) for several years.

Leon specializes in International Commercial Arbitration, Financial Dispute Resolution, Foreign-Related litigation and Compliance Matters. He regularly represents BAT companies, Fortune 500 companies as well as WOFE companies in their dispute resolution at various levels of PRC courts and/or before tribunals of International Arbitration Institutions and Ad Hoc; He also advises international and local clients for their compliance matters and support oversea litigations in Document Production as well as Data Privacy matters. Some active clients he is advising or has advised include Amazon, GE, HHI, Albemarle, Ipsen, Alibaba Group, Ali-Pay, Sina Group, Mobike, Bilibili, GEOX as well as other high-profile enterprises in the industry of TMT, Pharmaceutical, Finance, Petro-Chemical, Manufacture, etc.

Leon is ranked as “Top 15 Rising Lawyers in China” by Asian Legal Business (ALB) of Thomson Reuters in 2018, “Notable” Chinese practitioners in dispute resolution by Asialaw Profiles 2020 and 2021, and “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation China 2021. He also served as arbitrator in SCIA and SHIAC.
