Dixon has practised law as a private practitioner, in-house legal counsel and as a lawyer/IP Strategist in the public sector.

Over the years, Dixon has advised numerous entities including MNCs and SMEs across many different industries, such as IT, e-commerce, FinTech and media. As such, he is very familiar with the challenges (particularly IP & business issues) experienced by businesses throughout South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Dixon was as one of the key contributors of the Singapore IP Strategy 2030 and led a team of IP Strategists from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore to deliver projects that has enabled innovative enterprises and public agencies to scale and grow using their IP/IA portfolios.

More recently, Dixon was engaged by the World IP Organisation ("WIPO") as lead IP expert to conduct IP Strategy clinics for Indonesian companies.

Proud graduate of the University of Tasmania and Dixon holds qualifications to practise law in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
